It's not what you think, but it will make you think.
How do you become a racist? Are you born with it? Does someone teach you? Or is it an inevitable path shaped by skin tone, stereotypes, and status?
This is a live, three-part interactive series that takes an anthropological look at how dehumanization is learned, how it shows up in language and at work, and how to unlearn it. We answer questions live, myth-bust the language we use around race, and make room for the kind of honesty that changes how people lead.
The name is intentional. After the first series, someone asked me to change it because of how it looked on their calendar. By the end, they were asking for more.
Of all the workshops and seminars that I have taken part in that seek to address the issue of racism, this one is the most fruitful and has the potential to provide the most impact. The tools and perspectives offered here can transform our entire society if we lovingly share with others.
